New Love of the Year

I have been terribly busy the last few months - but in a good way! My daughter bought her first house and begun a new journey in her life which we both desperately needed. She was living in the downstairs apartment and clearly needed independence to move forward with her personal growth. Well, it's a done deal and she is loving it!
Then there was Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a wonderful Christmas day as my daughter and her fiance were very happy and anticipating moving into their new home. We all received wonderful presents - we all enjoy our toys : kitchen appliances, pestle and mortar for herbs... fun things you wouldn't buy for yourself. Now the house is quiet and I can create at will!

My new journey has been prayer beads and malas: both 54 and 108 bead malas with a wonderful sari silk tassel or a gemstone guru bead.  My latest one has a stunning rustic gossular green garnet pendant/ guru bead.  I almost kept it for myself but it was so perfect for this piece I had to surrender it.
In addition to the guru bead I used 10mm round green garnet beads that I have hoarded for forever (it's hard to find affordable quality green garnet anymore) in between sections of faceted red garnet, lepidolite in luscious shades and green fancy jasper lovelies. Between them I used 2.5mm natural pyrite beads and added some 6mm sterling silver beads. There are more in my Etsy store if you want to see them. Have a great day!
